The Super Effective Productivity Tip So Many People Overlook That You Can Implement Today

There is no shortage of productivity hacks out there. But the one I'm going to share with you today is so easy, you can start using it immediately. And it is one that I have found to be incredibly effective. Hi, I'm Tim Fitzpatrick with Rialto Marketing where we believe marketing shouldn't be difficult. All you need is the right plan.

Thank you so much for taking the time to tune in. I am obviously flying solo today and I want to share this productivity hack with you. We have all heard the tip. Hey, when you're trying to focus on something, silence your phone, right? Silence all of your notifications.

There's nothing worse than working on something. And you hear the ding of your phone because you got a text message or an email or whatever it is. Silence your phone. Put it on airplane mode so that you don't get distracted. Now this tip, I want you to take that one step further, and once you've silenced your phone, I want you to take it, and I want you to put it in a place that you cannot see it.

Okay. When you are working on something and your phone is sitting in your peripheral vision, even if you have silenced it, I guarantee you it is distracting you. It is in your subconscious. I guarantee it. I can't even remember where I got this tip.

I wish I could because it's worked really well for me. You may be just thinking, oh my gosh, there's no way this works. Listen, humor me. Try it for the next couple of days. If you have an important project, you want to work for an hour, 45 minutes.

Silence your phone. Put in a place where you cannot see it, and then the following day, try doing it with your phone in a place you can see it. I guarantee you will notice the difference. I was shocked when I first started doing this.

If this doesn't work for you, then email me, reach out to me and let me know because I will be shocked. I didn't really think all that much about it. Frankly, I just started doing it and I didn't even think twice about it, and I started noticing when I didn't put my phone away. All of a sudden it was just distracting me and I wasn't getting as much done. So super simple tip. Silence your phone. We've all heard that. Take it one step further. Put it in a place where you can't see it when you are working on things that you really need to get done and you do not want to be distracted. I hope you found this helpful. Reach out. Let me know if you do. It's a super simple tip.

I'm sure it is going to make a huge impact for you. So again, I'm Tim Fitzpatrick with Rialto Marketing. Thanks for taking the time to listen.
